Litwa cofnęła status persona non grata dla dwójki białoruskich działaczy antyatomowych: Tatsiany Novikovej i Mikalaia Ulasevicha. Ponieważ Novikova wcześniej zaskarżyła decyzję litewskich władz do sądu, ministerstwo spraw zagranicznych musiało przedstawić powody, dla których przyznało status. Ministerstwo jednak nie chciało przedstawić takich informacji i zażyczyło sobie, by rozprawa odbywała się za zamkniętymi drzwiami. Sąd nie zaakceptował tej odmowy, więc ministerstwo będzie musiało je przedstawić na kolejnej rozprawie 25 lutego.

Lithuanian authorities removed two anti-nuclear activists: Tatiana Novikova and Mikalai Ulasevich from persona non-grata list. Two Belarusians are again able to enter Lithuania. Nevertheless Novikova turned to court over the Lithuanian Migration Department’s decision to ban her from entry. The Ministry of Foreign Affaires hasn't explained why it had given her persona non-grata status and wanted the trail to be conducted behind the closed door.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs – saw no need to inform the judge about the motives on the basis of which such a decision was made, saying that the judge has no right to access classified information. This is a pure theater of the absurd,” the Belarusian citizen said.
In her words, the court “nevertheless, ordered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide the classified motives.” The next hearing is scheduled for Feb. 25.
